Nasreen is a passionate teacher with more than 15 years of experience in the field of education which includes teaching, school improvement, planning, and teacher training. Being an educator is not just what she does; it has become who she is, her own journey of learning has shaped her into the educator she has become; someone with a belief that learning can, and should, challenge how and what we think and therefore what we become. The journey towards becoming a scholar in the field of learning and teaching is a lifetime endeavour and with that in mind, her teaching philosophy has evolved over the years.

Mrs. Bhavani.KN is a kannada teacher at Sofia Public School. She has more than 8 years of teaching experience. She has completed her Bachelors in Kannada and education from Bangalore University ith flying colours. Her educational psychology is to acquire new teaching skills which help her to guide and motivate the students and make them learn the language easily.
When asked about her teaching philosophy she says “My teaching methods are simple yet powerful. I believe grammar should be learnt properly to understand the language. Since my basic knowledge of subject is strong, I can make students learn both old and new literature easily. I can teach them according to their convenience”.

In my opinion, being an effective teacher means allowing an environment that enables students to learn in the classroom to their best abilities. When effective teaching is practiced, students develop a love for learning and gain new knowledge about what they are studying. Effective teaching can stem from many different practices and ideas such as attitude toward subject matter, implementing different learning styles into lessons, and being passionate about the subject being taught. All of these ideas can help a teacher become more effective in the classroom. It is true that effective teaching also allows students to better understand new material and difficult content.”
